If you are aware that you are allergic to stings then it is advisable to ask your doctor for an EpiPen. For wasp and hornet stings apply vinegar and take an antihistamine, for bee stings remove the sting which will be left behind and apply an ice pack. Paracetamol or Ibuprofen will help with any discomfort. Stings vary for each species, the hornet sting being the most painful but this is only because the hornets stinger is longer and able to penetrate the muscle.
